As the current markets are getting more and more global and competitive companies need to find a way how they can gradually improve and change their business models.
Some companies go further and change their business models abrupt and radical. Some might say they redefine their markets.
But how do companies do that? First they have to challenge their existing assumptions about their current products or services, their target customers/consumers, their technology, their scalability of the business and even their geographical reach. Stage 2 would be to identify new opportunities and of course the risks involved when changing these old assumptions and get initiatives and changes on the way to potentially grow.
Bottom line is be disruptive and a catalyst of change, go out and redefine your markets. Steve Jobs has done it, Richard Branson has done it. Be next.
